Sandra Kay Powell, 67, passed away Monday morning, February 8, 2016 at her home in Liberal, Kansas.

The daughter of Minnie Lee (Mallard) and Jack "J.R." Riley, she was born August 7, 1948 in Lubbock, Texas. She attended school in Lawton, Oklahoma before moving to Ohio. She was united in marriage to Paul Kerry in Ohio. She had worked as a cook. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Steve Lee and sister, Angela Lee.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, LeeAnn McCarney of Woodward, Oklahoma; son, Michael McCarney of Guymon, Oklahoma; two sisters, Karen Tivis of Liberal; Jackie Campbell of Yukon, Oklahoma; brother, Ervin Lee and wife, Shirley of Guymon; two granddaughters, two grandsons, many other relatives including a special niece and nephew, Kim and Allen Marshall of Hooker, Oklahoma and Dondy and Willie Sullivan of Guymon.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday afternoon, February 12th, 2:00 P.M. at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Brittian, pastor of Straight Christian Church, officiating.
