John Bruce, Campbell, 69, longtime Guymon resident, died Tuesday evening, March 22, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County, after a lengthy illness.

The son of Robert W. and Margaret Iva Campbell, John was born June 20, 1946.  He graduated from Guymon High School and served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran.  He was retired as a welder in the oilfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Wayne Campbell, Sr., and Margaret Iva Campbell.

John is survived by two brothers, Robert Campbell, Jr. and Scott Campbell, both of Guymon; three sisters, Denise and husband, Ralph Gumm  of Tulsa; Kim and husband, Kevin Rowbotham of Piedmont, OK; and Kelly and husband, Milton Hanson of Guymon; four nephews, two nieces and several great nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be Monday afternoon, 2:00 PM, March 28, 2016 at Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 501 NW Fifth Street, Guymon.  Graveside services with military rites will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.  Friends may sign the online guestbook and send their condolences at www.hensonnovak.com.
