Dear Janie and family, the family members of Jack (who passed away March 7, 2016) and Mary Phelps send our deepest sympathy. We didn't know your beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, family member, friend had passed away until Jackie got a note this past week from Lynn Brack. Our families have a wonderful history together. We grieve for you and send our love.

Our sincere condolences to Janie and family. Carl was a very special man. I first met Carl when he was an ROTC cadet at Panhandle State many years ago. I was impressed then and even more so over the years. What a fine man with a beautiful wife and family. He was everything every man wants to be: a dedicated successful farmer and family man, with honor and integrity and great love for his country. May the good Lord bless the family during this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear of Carl's passing! I didn't know him very well, but all of my dealings with him showed him to truly be a genuinely nice, trustworthy, reliable person of integrity & great farming knowledge. I have relied on his farming skills, knowledge & advice greatly over the past year, especially as I have tried to take over the management of our farming operations from my father, Bill Hoffmann, who is also very distressed to learn of Carl's passing. I am sure he will be greatly missed and I extend our greatest sympathies to his family during this very difficult time.
