Amy Sue Kilburg, 37 year old Guymon resident passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her home in Guymon.

Amy was born September 10, 1978 in Maquoketa, Iowa to John and Mary (Tebbe) Kilburg. Amy attended school in Iowa and graduated high school in 1996. Amy went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in history from Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Amy moved to Guymon from Denver, Colorado, with her husband Brent in July 2014.  Amy worked as the cafeteria manager at OPSU in Goodwell, Oklahoma.

She was involved with the Jaycees.  Amy loved spending her time with family members, especially her son Teddy.

Amy was preceded in death by her father.

Amy is survived by her husband Brent Shepherd of the home; one son Teddy Eli Shepherd, her mother Mary Kilburg; four sisters and three brothers.  Amy is also survived by her father in law Douglas Eli Shepherd and mother in law Dorothy Catherine Mathis.

Burial will take place in Bellevue, Iowa with Hachmann Funeral Home handling the services.

Memorials are suggested to go to the Theodore Eli Shepherd education fund and may be accepted at the Henson-Novak Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
