Henrietta Hill, 91, passed away early Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Heritage Community, Guymon, Oklahoma.
The daughter of Olive (Magill) and George William Butler, Henrietta was born February 12, 1926 in Andover, Kansas. The family moved from Andover to Wichita where Henrietta graduated from East High School. Henrietta moved to Guymon in 1958 where she worked for several years before she was united in marriage to Lawrence N. Hill on August 12, 1966. Lawrence and Henrietta were active members of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Lawrence passed away in 1984. Henrietta enjoyed quilting and donated many quilts to World Relief.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, George A. Butler, Robert Butler and William E. Butler, and her husband. Lawrence Hill.
Henrietta Hill was an aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt. She is survived by many nieces and nephews in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. She is also survived by her church family.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, December 9th, 10:00 AM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1212 North Crumley, Guymon with Rev. Tom House, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Texhoma, OK, officiating. Interment will follow in Oslo Lutheran Cemetery, Hansford County, Texas. Services are entrusted to Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
