Beverly Hendrix Osborn, 81 year old Gruver, Texas resident and former Guymon resident, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Hansford Hospital in Spearman, Texas.

Beverly was born on September 10, 1934 in Bixby, Oklahoma to Leona Talcott (Hendrix) and Ora Hendrix. Ora passed away in 1935. Leona married Walter "Buster" Jacobs who raised her.

Beverly attended Hooker Schools and graduated with the class of 1952. Shortly after graduating Beverly married Loyd "Pete" Osborn in Clayton, New Mexico. Beverly had many hobbies which included line dancing, fishing, road trips and playing games. Beverly was also an avid golfer and loved to garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leona and Buster Jacobs; one brother Jesse; one son Sam Osborn and one granddaughter Dedra London.

Beverly is survived by four daughters; Debra and husband Dave Nielson of Fort Worth, Texas; Deena and husband Walter Murrell of Gruver, Texas: Vicky Carpenter and Jim Allton of Mechanicsburg, Ohio and Jody and husband Willie Young of Gate, Oklahoma. One daughter in law Sandy Osborn of Canton, Oklahoma. She is survived by nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, December 14, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00p.m.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 15, 2015 at The Henson-Novak Chapel in Guymon with interment to follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.

Memorials are to be made to Oslo Lutheran Church in Gruver, Texas or Hansford County Hospice of Spearman, Texas. Memorial contributions will be accepted by the funeral home.
