Virginia Harryman, 90-year-old longtime Keyes, Oklahoma resident passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Dalhart, Texas.
Virginia Quackenbush was born September 22, 1931, at the homestead known as the Gillis homestead to Clarence and Edith (Gillis) Quackenbush.
Junia attended the Boise City school system graduating with the class of 1950.
She was married to Roy Overstreet who preceded her in 1992 and Art Harryman who preceded her in 2007.
She was a homemaker during her career raising six daughters.
Junia participated in many clubs and organizations in her community including the Cimarron County Fair Board, Homemakers club and loved canning and baking.
She loved to embroider, reading, and going to the casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, four brothers and four sisters, one infant son three grandsons: Blake, Terry, Bradley, one granddaughter: Jessica, and four great-grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jayde, Braston, and Destinee.
Junia is survived by six daughters: Christine Rodriguez, Ina Shepler, Katherine Timberlake, Carrie Overstreet, Mary Overstreet and Dana Overstreet, 21 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. Friday September 2, 2022, at Henson-Novak Funeral Home of Boise City.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Boise City. Interment will follow at Willowbar Cemetery.
