Shayla Williams

Shayla Ann Williams was born on February 1976 in Guymon, Oklahoma and departed this life at her home in Keyes, Oklahoma on January 12, 2022.

When Shayla was seven years old, she was warmly welcomed into the home of Delbert and Patricia (Miller) Williams of Keyes. Her adoption brought much joy sunshine and love to their home. Her bubbly bright personality was a welcome addition. She loved to accompany her beloved dad as he worked on their farm.

One of her favorite things was when her great-grandma (Lorena) Harryman came by on Sunday to take her to Sunday school and church.

Shayla attended school in Keyes where she was a member of the pep club and excelled academically.

She was married to Don Kirk Jr. of Guymon on October 31, 1995.

To this marriage three sons were born. Joshua Delbert of Denver, Colorado: Caleb Johnathan of London, England: and James Wells Kirk of Boulder, Colorado.

Shayla was united to Mike Houdyshall of Keyes at the time of her death.

Shayla was preceded in death by her beloved father Delbert, her maternal grandparents- Kenneth and Pearl Miller, her paternal grandparents- Charles and Geneva Williams, her great grandmother- Lorena Harryman, who was so special to her. She is survived by her husband Mike of the home, her mother Patricia Miller of Keyes, her three sons and their families and a special aunt Karen (Williams) Bemus of Delton, HI.

A host of other relatives and friends will miss her.

Services for Shayla will be at the Keyes United Methodist church. Interment will be at Willowbar Cemetery on the first Saturday in April 2nd, 2022. 2:00 p.m. graveside.
