Sandra June (Sissy & Sandy) Fox Percifield was born on June 3, 1944, to Clifton and June Fox in Fort Worth, Texas. She left this life suddenly in her home in Keyes, Oklahoma on February 9, 2022. During her very colorful life, Sandy worked at various jobs with her primary occupations being a seamstress, homemaker and business manager.
Sandy particularly loved sewing, raising and loving her many dogs throughout her life, helping others any way she could, laughing, loving others and being around family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sandy was an avid and faithful football fan, and she truly loved watching and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners.
Sandy was preceded in death by her biological father, Clifton Fox, her mom and dad, Byron (Smitty) and June Smith, one daughter, Carla Cady, one brother-in-law, Glen Keylon, and two great nephews, Kody Keylon and Jordan Smith.
She is survived by her husband Bill Percifield of Keyes, Oklahoma, one son, Johnny Evans of Weatherford, Texas, three brothers, Cliff and Helen Fox of Fritch, Texas, Derrel (Derry) and Kathy Smith of Miami, Texas, Gregory (Pokey) and Alice Smith of Bushland, Texas, and one sister Blenda (Blink) Keylon of Wood River, Nebraska.
Sandy’s family grew with her marriage to Bill. With that union came the addition of two daughters, Stephanie and husband Bob Cochran of Keyes, Oklahoma and Brenda Percifield also of Keyes, Oklahoma. Also added were three granddaughters, Erica and husband David Bailey of Keyes, Oklahoma, Mackenzie and husband Brad Ottinger of Kaw City, Oklahoma and Tristian Williams of Stillwater, Oklahoma and one grandson, Tyler Brown of Amarillo, Texas.
Sandy is also survived by her beloved greatgrandchildren Landen Williams and Chanley Bailey both of Keyes, Oklahoma. Sandy also gained two stepdaughters when she and Bill married, Lisa Fry of Elkhart, Kansas and her sons Elliott Fry and Colton Fry of Keyes, Oklahoma and Laura and husband Craig Cook of Dumas, Texas and their son Blake Cook of Dumas, Texas and their daughter Brittani and her husband Victor Estrada of Dallas, Texas as well as an additional seven step-greatgrandchildren. Sandy will also be greatly missed by her very close friend who was more like a son to her, Thomas Hicks. Thomas was always available and willing to help out with any job, big or small, that Sandy and Bill needed done.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Sandy on February 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Willowbar Cemetery west of Keyes, Oklahoma.
