Robert James

Bob James, 85-year-old Boise City, Oklahoma resident passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Cimarron memorial Hospital in Boise City.

 Bob James was born April 1, 1936, in Stratford Texas to Andy Albert and Mary Ruth (Ingham) James. He attended the Boise city school system graduating with the class of 1954. After high school Bob went on to attend Oklahoma State University and Panhandle A&M in Goodwell.

On June 6, 1957, Bob, and Judy (Snapp) were united in marriage at the First Baptist Church in Boise City. They were blessed with three children: Brad, Jeff, and Cindy.

Bob was engaged in ranching during his working career and loved the wide-open spaces. He loved a good horse, but what he loved most of all was his family. The family time and get togethers are what brought great joy to him.

Bob was a faithful member of the Boise City First Baptist Church.

Bob loved football season. He was a dedicated Oklahoma State and Denver Bronco fan. He also like to have a handful or two of peanuts while watching the games.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Judy in 2018.

Left to carry on his legacy are one daughter Cindy Cardona and husband Art of Amarillo, Texas, two sons: Brad and wife Tammy of Boise City and Jeff and wife Kathy of Boise City, one sister: Barbara Fretwell of Oklahoma City, four grandchildren :Jessi James of Boise City, Taylor James and wife Jenny of Swickley, Pennsylvania, Josh and Stacy James of Stillwater Oklahoma and Adam James and wife Stevi, eight great-grandchildren and one on the way. 

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M till 8:00 P.M Tuesday January 11, 2022, at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors in Boise City.

 Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Boise City with Pastor Trevor Bulls officiating.
