Raymond Sandoval, 92-year-old Boise City resident passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Memorial Hospital of Texas County.
Raymond was born March 15, 1929, in Sapello, New Mexico to Luis Sandoval and Emilia (Cordova) Sandoval. He attended the Sapello New Mexico School System graduating with the class of 1947.
After graduating he made a lifetime career in construction, engineering, and ranching. These, he truly enjoyed, spending time with family is what he treasured the most.
On January 31, 1951, he was united in marriage to Vivian (Padilla) Sandoval in Sapello, NM. After they were married they moved to Boise City and started raising their family there.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife (2017), infant son Joseph, one sister: Josie Marinez, one daughter-in-law: Irene Sandoval, two grandchildren: Joesph[sic] Gates, and Richard Zousel; and one aunt: Maria Sandoval.
Two sons survive him: Manuel Ray Sandoval of Boise City and Cristy Sandoval and wife Ventura. Four daughters survive him: Carol Jean Sena, Mary Jane Neatherlin of Fairview, OK, Darlene Luisa Sandoval Zousel and husband John, and Carla Audrey; eight grandchildren: Richard Sena, Michelle and husband Jade Carkary, Michael Neatherlin, Monica and husband Drew Baker, Deann Gates, Roxanne and husband Tim Watts, Audrey and husband Zach Wiggins; and Gus Coffman. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Boise City.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Jerome Krug officiating.
Interment will follow in the Boise City Cemetery.
Meal served at Good Shepherd Parish Hall for all.
