Ralph Figueredo Obituary

Ralph Tavares Figueredo 02/19/1945- 04/10/2020

Ralph was happy to say he was 75 years old. He had recently celebrated his 75th birthday with his whole family and he was very proud to say he cooked his own birthday dinner as a special gift from him to his family.Ralph has a wife, Frances, and 7 Children. Misty, Nikki, Marcy, Heather, Hayley, Jenevy, and his son Joshua. For his children he lived, and for them he had more heart than he had body to hold.So on the 10th of April he left us to be with God, to be with Jesus, and to be with his daughter, Misty. He left behind the pains of the world to rise to a new life with all his loved ones who called him home.Ralph came to the mainland from Hawaii. He was made from different bloods but called himself Portage. He like talk story. He like make joke. He like make lomy salmon. His favorite meal was two cheeseburgers, no pickle, no onion, fries and a Diet Coke. His dog Bradda stay in heaven waiting til he walk in. Bradda was a good Hau’ulian mutt he said, but the best dog in the world. Rocko too.The family he built was large and loving. They never failed to come together. They are the definition of how families became the strongest fortress for anyone to be shielded by. Ralph was also a pillar for the town he lived in. He was avid about attending the town board meetings and ensuring accountability of our local government. His hobbies included, carpentry, welding, engineering, hot rod construction, restorations. Architecture and landscape design. He built the whole world around him. He helped almost every neighbor he had and was generous with his time to anyone wanting to talk or help hold something up. He spent time with his common law wife of 44 years, his children, and so many grandchildren. The love he gave came back from so many that it gave him spirit, and hope. He brought all of them together every single holiday where he would play music and dance and pray with us. His favorite foods are Poi, Lomy Salmon, Lau Lau,Kahlua Pig, potato salad<== broke da mouth.
