Pauline Davis

Pauline Davis 88-year-old former resident of Boise City, Oklahoma passed away on August 24th, 2022, at Coon Memorial Nursing Home in Dalhart, Texas.

Eunice Pauline Wiggins was born in Keyes, Oklahoma on September 18th, 1933, to her small and loving family.

Pauline grew up in Cimarron County and was raised in and throughout the Keyes community, where she graduated with the class of 1951. She became interested in higher learning and enrolled at Draunz Business College.

She began working as a secretary in the banking Industry.

Pauline was united in marriage to the handsomest man she had ever laid her eyes on, Jerry William Davis.

Jerry and Pauline were united in marriage on March 17th, 1954, in Clayton, New Mexico, and to this union three children were born: Jacque, Kathy and Stan.

Jerry fought bravely over in Vietnam and was tragically taken from Pauline and the kids on December 27, 1966.

Pauline and Jerry loved their children deeply and with Jerry’s passing, Pauline and the kids had to depend on one another.

She enjoyed shopping, basketball, sewing, crafts, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pauline is preceded in death by her sweetheart; Jerry Davis, her loving mother and father; Bert and Mildred Wiggins, two sisters; Joan Hanes and Nancy Hanvey, Dorothy Hanes one grandson; Grant Gillespie and one great-granddaughter; Faith Soell.

She is survived by her three children, daughter; Jacque Gillespie and husband Mark of Boise City, Oklahoma, daughter; Kathy James and husband Jeff of Boise City, Oklahoma, and son; Stan Davis of South Carolina.

Memorial Contributions in Pauline memory may be made to the Willowbar Cemetery with the funeral home accepting them at P.O. box 1306 Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
