Patsy Sue Guinn

Patsy Guinn passed away January 28, 2023 at Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, OK after a brief fight with cancer.

Patsy was born March 9, 1955 to Garland and Ruth Lees in Liberal, Kansas.

She attended her elementary and jr. high years at Hooker, OK. She started her freshman year at Perryton, Texas graduating with the class of 1973. Patsy attended Texas Tech University and was a member of the Texas Tech Red Raider Marching Band.

Patsy married Billy Guinn in February, 1999. They later divorced.

Patsy worked as a Petroleum Draftsman for a few years. She then spent the next 32 years in Police work starting at the City of Perryton Police Department. From there she worked for Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Department and the Jordan Unit Prison in Pampa, Texas. The last 22 years of her career were at Liberal Police Department as a Crime Scene Technician.

Upon retirement, Patsy moved to Tulsa, OK to be close to her family.

Patsy is survived by her sister, Jacque (Mike) Hamm, Glenpool, OK, nephew Scott (Donna) Hamm, Virginia Beach, VA, niece Hollie Hoover, Broken Arrow, OK, great nephews Logan(Brielle) Hamm and Kade Roesch, Glenpool, OK, great nieces Makayla (David) Jirrels, Tulsa, OK and Jocelyn Roesch, Glenpool, OK, great-great nephews Brixton Hamm, Glenpool, OK and Harrison Jirrels, Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial will take place at a later date.

Memorials contributions are suggested to the Porta Caeli House in Tulsa,OK or the Kidney Foundation in care of the Henson Novak Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
