Patricia Cochran, 91-year-old Boise City, Oklahoma resident passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at Cimarron Memorial Hospital in Boise City.
Patricia Jean Enlow was born June 27, 1932 in Boise City, Oklahoma to Jim and Carl (Hewitt) Enlow. She attended Boise City High School, graduating with the class of 1950. After high school she met and married Chas "Cecil" James Cochran on August 31, 1951, in Tacoma, Washington. To this union five children were born: Gary Dale, Diana Jean, David Alan, Patti Ann, and Kathleen Gae.
The Cochran family lived in Washington and California, while Cecil was in the Navy. Cecil retired from the service in 1967. After his retirement, Cecil worked for the Civil Service, before moving to Boise City. The family moved to Boise City, Oklahoma in 1973, this is where they made their home ever since.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, crosswords and spending time with family.
She was preceded by her parents, her husband Cecil, one grandson Nathan Cochran, five sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include: two sons Gary Dale Cochran and wife Beverly, Marriottsville, Maryland, and David Alan Cochran and wife Carol, Coral Springs, Florida, three daughters, Diana Jean Matheny, Boise City, Oklahoma, Patti Ann Vaclavik of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Kathleen Gae Brannum and husband Edwin of Boise City, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Patricia is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside memorial services will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boise City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to charity of choice and will be accepted by the funeral home.
