Milton Andrew Reust

Milton Andrew Reust was born in Guymon, Oklahoma on May 25, 1940 to Ralph Roland and Lola Hockett Reust. He entered eternal rest on February 15, 2020.

Milton attended school in Guymon. In 1962 he was drafted into the U.S. Army serving at Ft. Carson, Colorado for four years. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a member of FFA in his youth and was a proud supporter of FFA in Guymon and Texhoma for many years. He donated his time to help with “Loaves & Fishes” at the food bank in Guymon.

Milton and Betty Tilley Alexander were married on June 6, 1970 in his hometown of Guymon, Oklahoma. They were married for 49 years. His love for the cowboy life led him to work for the O-Bar ranch where he worked until 1974. After leaving the O-Bar, he worked for Texas County and then retired from the City of Guymon in 2005.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his brother Carlos, children Jim and Cathy Alexander and grandson John Diaz.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty and three sons: Chuck Alexander, wife Melody and son Erick of Amarillo, TX. Ed Reust, wife Misti of Texhoma TX and children Britni Reust Keylon and husband Kelly and their 3 children - Colter Reust, currently serving in the U.S. Air Force and fiancé, Stephanie - Bailey Talbert Kuykendall and husband Colter - Kali Talbert Kimball and husband Winston and their 2 children - Kelby Madrid and wife Cristal and their 3 children. Mark Reust of Boise City, OK and his children, Laekyn Reust Wagner and husband Cy and their 4 children - Dalyn Reust and Landyn Reust.

Grandchildren - Kris Frazier and wife, Dorothy and their 3 children - Mandy Jerome and her 3 children -
Nella Beth Richmond and her 3 children - Jimmy Diaz and his 2 children and John (deceased) and his 2
children.

Survivors also include his sister Sarah Reust Faith and her husband Carl of Hulvert, OK and their children Kay Faith Sloane and her husband John and their child, Russell and wife Marcy and their children - brother, Melvin Gene Reust of Guymon, OK Nieces Carla Reust and Jackie Reust

Milton loved his 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Milton will be Friday, February 21, 2020 from 12:00 Noon till 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:30 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. at Henson-Novak Funeral Home, 501 NW 5th St., Guymon, OK.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Lane Baptist Church, 1515 N. Sunset Lane, Guymon, OK. The family suggests memorials be made to: Oklahoma FFA Association % Henson-Novak Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
