Boise City, Oklahoma – Marlene Clifton, 64, passed away early Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Cimarron Memorial Hospital, Boise City, Oklahoma. 

The daughter of Mary (McClellan) and Stanley Jones, Lillian Marlene Jones was born July 30, 1953 in Boise City.  Marlene graduated from Boise City High School and then graduated from cosmetology school in Lamar, Colorado.  Marlene had worked in medical records at Cimarron Memorial Hospital for many years.  She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend.

Marlene is survived by her son, Jeffrey Clifton of Boise City; daughter, Lisa McManess and husband, John of Pueblo, CO; sister, Rita Montgomery and husband, Wayne of Boise City; two brothers, Dale Jones and wife, Margie of Crowley, Texas and Darrell Jones; daughter-in-law, Mattie Clifton of Abilene, Texas; and her lifelong best friend, Donna Cain of Boise City.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, Gavin Clifton, Shandee Yoder, Shania McManess and Siera McManess; and two great grandsons, John Wayne and Wesley Dean Redfern; and special family friends, Richard and Leticia Cameron of Converse, Texas

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Michael Clifton who passed away in 2016 and a niece, Tiffany Jones.

Memorial services will be Friday afternoon, June 8th, 2:00 PM at the Boise City Christian Church.  Services are entrusted to Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Boise City.
