Marilyn Parker Obituary

Marilyn Kay Mountford was born in Miami, Oklahoma on May 22, 1956, the third child of Joseph Mountford and Norma Hankins Mountford.


Kay, 65, passed on the evening of September 14th, 2021, surrounded by her husband and her children at INTEGRIS Miami Hospital.


She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She especially loved her role as Memaw. She had a
vivacious personality and always made people around her feel cherished. She made friends everywhere she went, a second mom to many.


Kay loved to love on people, especially her people. She sewed dresses, knitted winter hats for her
grandbabies, embroidered pillows, and made blankets with love. She also shared her love with food, chicken noodles, cinnamon rolls, fresh bread and Christmas candy.


She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Sam Parker, and stepson Drew, her sisters Cathy (Steve) Weatherford and Amy Bentle and brothers Kent (Debbie) and Tim Mountford, her children, Jodi (Greg) Rice, Jordan (Misty) Goff, Jon Goff , Emily (Stacy) Beven, and Ryan Marney. Her grandchildren Kaler (Alex), Ivy, Isaic, Abigail, Violet,

Izabelle, Annabelle, River, Willow, Peyton, Remy, Poppy, Xander, Oliver, Aston, Payson and great-
grandbaby Emilia along with a host of nieces and nephews all of who she adored dearly.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, son Justin and daughter, Jana.

Memorial Services for Marilyn will be held on Saturday October, 23rd , 2021 at 2:00 P.M at Elmhurst Cemetery with Pastor Craig Shepperd presiding.
