Maria Baker

Maria Gavina Sandoval Baker, 87-year-old Guymon, Oklahoma resident passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Maria Gavina Baldonado Sandoval Baker was born December 15, 1934, in Mora, New Mexico to Jose and Dolores (Sena) Baldonado. Maria attended the Las Vegas, New Mexico school system graduating with the class of 1952. She worked as a dishwasher during her working career.

In 1952 she was united in marriage to Jose Dolores Sandoval Baldonado. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1979. She was united in marriage Eugene Debs Baker.

Maria enjoyed spending time with her family at gatherings and holidays.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and one son Jose Dolores Sandoval Jr., three brothers: Pete Baldonado, Sandy Baldonado and Leo Baldonado, Five sisters: Jane Baldonado, Genevieve Baldonado, Manuela Baldonado, Baldonado and Helen Baldonado

She is survived by one daughter, Brigida Sandoval Martinez, five sons: Leandro Sandoval, Max Sandoval and wife Teresa, Louis Sandoval, John Sandoval and wife Rebekah and Victor Sandoval and wife Christine, one sister, Connie Hendrick, and husband Larry, one brother Joe Baldonado, three grandchildren: Megan Krahn, Alphonso Mata and Jose Martinez, three great-grandchildren Angel Madrid, Gabriel Martinez, Serenity Mata and one great-great grandchildren Nevaeh Marivelle Madrid Mendoza.

Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. Sunday January 2, 2022, at Good Shepherd Parish Catholic Church in Boise city, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Boise City. Interment will follow at Boise City Cemetery.
