LeRoy Durham

Everett LeRoy Durham, 70, of Keyes, Oklahoma and the Griggs Community passed from
this life to his eternal home on Sunday July 10, 2022 in Houston, Texas after a valiant
battle with Leukemia.

LeRoy was born in Delaware County Oklahoma at home to Everett and Clara Durham. The family subsequently moved to Ulysses, Kansas where LeRoy completed high school. He graduated from Oklahoma Panhandle State University with a B.S. in Biology and began his own farm and ranch operation in the Griggs Community. 

He married Ella Marie Pugh on June 25, 1971.

He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Clara Durham and one brother, Michael.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ella Durham, four children, and 5 grandchildren: Bart and Cassie Durham and children Keeley and Landon of Lubbock, Texas; Rebecca and Christopher Hunt and children Rylan and Reese of Lorena, Texas; Brandon Durham of Hugo, Oklahoma; and Rachel and Kyle Keylon and son Branch of Lubbock, Texas. He is
also survived by three siblings, Janett Smith, Pat Button, and Chad Durham. LeRoy loved God, family, hunting, fishing, and cattle ranching which all brought him the independence and outdoor lifestyle that he desired.

Service Details

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Boise City.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Keyes Church of Christ with Ron Eggleston officiating. Interment will follow at Willowbar Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Keyes EMT, Cimarron County Youth Supporter or Kody Keylon Memorial Scholarship and will accepted by the funeral home.
