Julian Bosquez

Julian Bosquez, 65-year-old Guymon, Oklahoma resident passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at his residence surrounded by loved ones.

Julian Felan Bosquez was born April 25, 1956, in Meridian, Texas to Julian Trinidad and Melitona (Felan) Bosquez. 

On September 27, 1975, Julian was united in marriage to Ramona Jean Romero. This union was blessed with three children.

Julian worked at Seaboard foods as a quality assurance manager until his retirement.  After his retirement Julian went to work for the city of Guymon.

He had many hobbies including playing instruments like the guitar and drums while he played in several bands.  He enjoyed working on cars and autobody work.  He was always in front of the television on Monday nights to watch wrestling.  Julian’s biggest pride though was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Paul and Esteban, his mother and father-in-law; Gene and Cecilia Romero and one brother-in-law; Daniel Romero.

Julian leaves behind to continue his legacy his wife Ramona of the home, two sons; Mario Bosquez and wife Erica of Guymon, Cecil Bosquez and girlfriend Alicia Gonzalez of Guymon, one daughter; Norma Deatherage and husband Wayne of Hooker, three sisters; Nellie Fuentez of El Reno, Oklahoma, Tomie Bosquez of Enid, Oklahoma and Janie Martinez and husband Ruben of Enid Oklahoma, five grandchildren Aaron Deatherage, Matthew Deatherage, Juliana Deatherage, Michael Deatherage and Alayah Bosquez and one great-grandson David Deatherage, two brother in laws; Tommy Romero of Guymon and Frank Romero and wife Tammy of Guymon.

Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Henson-Novak Funeral Home in Guymon.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 13, 2021, at First Assembly of God with Pastor George Kraft officiating. Interment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Panhandle Partners, P.O. box 829 Guymon, Oklahoma 73942 or may be accepted by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. box 1306 Guymon, Oklahoma 73942. Memorial contributions that are received at the funeral home will also be used for medical expenses.
