Eva McMellian, 86-year-old Guymon, Oklahoma resident passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Heritage Community in Guymon.
Eva Pearl Varner was born July 11, 1935, in Coleman, Texas to Albert and Ora (Tittsworth)Varner. She attended Dalhart Public Schools.
On March 17, 1951, she was united to H.L. (Mack) McMellian in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
She enjoyed reading and crocheting and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Ruth Murray, Alene Ramsey and LaNell Perry and one grandson: Corey Pio.
She is survived by her husband Mack of Guymon, two daughters: Evelyn Mathis and husband Jackie of Guymon and Teresa Page of Sunray, Texas, one son: Brian McMellian and wife Holley of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Skylar McMellian, Krissondra McMellian, Daren Duran and wife Liz, Rhonda Critser and husband Chad and Velvet Cook, sixteen grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Pastor Stacy J. Ross officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Northridge Freewill Baptist Church with the funeral home accepting the donations.
