David Stump Obituary

David Stump, 56 year old Elmwood, Oklahoma resident passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence.

David was born June 17th, 1964 to Stanley Stump and Jeanette (Gallant) Stump in Eastport, Maine. He attended Hardesty Schools and graduated with the class of 1982. David enlisted in the United States Navy right after high school and served his country for two years before returning home to Hardesty.

David worked for Behne Construction for several years before starting his own trucking business, DNK Trucking LLC. David was a very hard worker.

He was united in marriage to Lillian MontaƄo at St. Peter’s Catholic Church September 26th, 1998. This marriage was blessed with two daughters and one son.

David enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors, but enjoyed spending time with family, his kids and grandchildren most of all.

David was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne Stump, maternal grandparents, Gerard & Sedora Gallant.

He is survived by two daughters Anna Marie Montano of Guymon and Elizabeth Stump of Guymon, one son Nicholas Stump of Guymon, mother of his children Lillian Montano, his parents Stanley and Jeannette Stump of Guymon, one sister Donna LeGrange of Wichita, Kansas, his grandmother Goldie Stump of Guymon, Oklahoma. David is also survived by two granddaughters Gianna and Gracelynn Montano of Guymon, Oklahoma, . He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation & Funeral Service Details

Rosary Services for David will be conducted 8:00 P.M. Sunday, March 28, 2021 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Guymon, Oklahoma.

Funeral Mass for David will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 29, 2021 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Guymon, Oklahoma. 

Interment will follow immediately after funeral service at Hartville Cemetery in Hardesty, Oklahoma.
