Carol Sena Obituary

Carol Jean Sena, a resident of Boise City, Oklahoma went peacefully to be with the Lord; our great architect of life, love, heaven, and the entire universe; on November 25, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was on her way to Phoenix, Arizona, to visit her son and grandchildren.

Carol was born on November 25, 1954, to Vivian and Raymond Sandoval in Boise City, Oklahoma, where she was raised by her loving family, grew up, and graduated from Boise City High School with the class of 1974. She earned awards in Home Economics. She later moved to Las Vegas, New Mexico, where she met and married Rick Sena. This union they were blessed with one son: Richard Raymond Sena.

She is survived by Rick Sena of Las Vegas, New Mexico; her son Richard Sena; two grandchildren Gunner and Annabelle Sena, two brothers: Manuel Sandoval, Cristy and Tula Sandoval; three sisters; Mary Jane Neatherlin and family, Darlene and John Zousel and family, Carla and Travis Bennett and family. Carol is also survived by several nieces, nephews, first, second and third cousins and many friends.

Carol Jean made a life-time career with the Lord as her guide in carpentry, house painting, decorating, sewing, cooking, raising her family, and helping others. She also took great pride in her life and home by planting and caring for her flowers. She was a very loving dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She will truly be missed, and she will always hold a very special place in all our hearts.

Carol Jean is preceded in death by her parents; Vivian Padilla Sandoval in 2017, Raymond Sandoval in 2022, infant brother; Joseph Sandoval in 1951, sister-in-law; Irene Sandoval in 2016, Grandparents; Manuel and Manulita Padilla, Luis and Emilia Cordova Sandoval, Godparents; Mary and James Alverez, Confirmation sponsor; Dora Cordona, Father-in-law; Jose Valentine Sena, Mother-in-law; Victoria Sena, brothers-in-law: George and Joe Frank Sena, Uncle Jose and Aunt Maria Padilla, Aunt Alice and Uncle Levi Alcon, Aunt Josie and Uncle Fidencio Martinez.

Be joyful always; pray continually;

Give thanks in all circumstances.

Do not let your circumstances change your view of God.

Let God change your view of your circumstances.
