Bob Bailey

Bob Bailey, 71-year-old Texhoma, Oklahoma resident passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.

Robert “Bob” Bailey was born April 4, 1950, in Cleveland, Tennessee to John Halk and Irene (McSpadden) Bailey.

On July 3, 1968, Bob married Henrietta (Retta) Curtiss in Clayton, New Mexico. This union was blessed with four children, John, Lori, Autumn, and April.

Bob enjoyed fishing, gardening, and building model cars. He loved classic cars, the San Francisco 49rs and the Oklahoma Sooners. He loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bob worked as a farmer and mechanic during his working career.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Irene Bailey, wife Retta in 2014 and three brothers and four sisters.

Left to carry on his legacy are one son: John Bailey and wife Nina of Maysville, Oklahoma, three daughters: Lori Dodgion and husband Rick of Woodward, Oklahoma, Autumn McKay and husband Robert of Guymon, Oklahoma and April Bailey and husband Tim Robinson of Thornton, Colorado, thirteen grandchildren: Cade, Cale and Ryker Bailey, Shade and wife Mckenzie Donohoe, Charrissa and husband Merritt Vaughn, Bailey Pierce, Tim and wife Cara, Becky and husband Kyle Caudell, Larrissa Bailey, Curtiss Robinson, Hannah, Hayden and Hunter McKay, three great- grandchildren: Emma Dodgion, Eli Dodgion and Greyson Caudell. Bob is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00p.m. Friday January 28, 2022, at Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel in Texhoma, Texas.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 29, 2022, at Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel in Texhoma, Texas.

Interment will follow in the Texhoma Cemetery.
