Betty Tilley-Reust

Betty Charlene Tilley was born in Ada, Oklahoma on June 5, 1933 to Roy Tilley and Myrtle (Tisdale) Tilley. She entered eternal rest on November 23, 2020. 

Betty attended college at Oklahoma Panhandle State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English on May 23, 1969. 

Milton Reust and Betty Tilley Alexander were married on June 6, 1970 in Guymon, Oklahoma. They were married for 49 years. Betty taught English at Guymon Schools for 22 years.

She was an avid reader and loved spending time in The Word of God. She taught her children and grandchildren how to love the Lord by the way she lived her life. She had a heart for teaching, was an active volunteer in Guymon Community Theater and Loaves and Fishes.

Preceding her in death are her husband Milton Reust, her parents, children Jim and Cathy Alexander and a grandson John Diaz.

She is survived by three sons: Chuck Alexander, wife Melody and son Erick of Amarillo, Texas. Ed Reust, wife Misti of Texhoma, Texas and children Britni Reust Keylon and husband Kelly and their three children - Colter Reust, wife Stephanie of Las Vegas, Nevada - Bailey Talbert Kuykendall, husband Colter - Kali Talbert Kimball, husband Winston and their two children - Kelby Madrid, wife Cristal and their three children. Mark Reust of Boise City, Oklahoma and his children, Laekyn Reust Wagner, husband Cy and their four children - Dalyn Reust and Landyn Reust. 

Grandchildren - Kris Frazier and wife, Dorothy and their three children - Mandy Jerome and her three children - Nella Beth Richmond and her three children - Jimmy Diaz and his two children and John Diaz (deceased) and his two children. 

Survivors also include her sister in law Sarah Reust Faith and husband Carl of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and their children Kay Faith Slane and husband John and their child, Russell Faith and wife Marcy and their children - brother in law Melvin Gene Reust of Guymon, Oklahoma.

Betty loved her 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday November 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Oklahoma. 

The family suggests memorials be made to: Guymon Community Theater.
