Alice Marie Johnson

Alice Marie Johnson, 97 year old resident of Goodwell, Oklahoma passed away at Heritage Community on Monday, December 7th, 2020.

Alice was born on September 12th, 1923 to Lawrence and Lois Shepherd in Woodward, Oklahoma. She attended Woodward schools and graduated with the class of 1941 and went on to college in Oklahoma City at Draughn’s School of Business.

Alice enjoyed sewing and quilting, spending time with family and making many teddy bears for “Get Well Soon” cards.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Lois Shepherd and husband Lee R.

She is survived by her two daughters Leslie Kraich and husband Steve of Goodwell, Oklahoma and Leesa Hogan of Guymon, Oklahoma and by her four grandchildren Byron Hogan and wife Kyla, Brandon Hogan, Savannah Dickinson and husband Todd and Thurston Kraich, along with six great-grandchildren Vivian Hogan, Aubrey Dickinson, Dax Dickinson, Jacqueline Kraich, MacGregor Kraich and Isabel Kraich.  She is also survived by one sister-in-law Lelia Welch and nephew Steve Johnson along with nieces, nephews and host of friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, December 11th, 2020 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Henson-Novak Funeral Home, 501 NW 5th St. Guymon, Ok.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 12th, 2020 at 11:00am at Victory United Methodist Church.
