Boise City, Oklahoma – Jose Angel Reyes, 67, passed away Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at Cimarron Memorial Hospital.
The son of Felicitas Almanzar and Esteban Reyes, Jose was born October 2, 1951 in Durango, Mexico. Jose moved from Colorado to Boise City. He had worked as a farmer/rancher for many years and proceeded onto a truck driver career.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela DeHerrera of Alamosa, CO; five sons, Larry Reyes of Parker, CO, Tacho Reyes of Boise City, Felix Reyes and wife, Lindsay of San Marcos, TX, Joe Reyes of Bartlesville, OK and Tony Reyes of Abilene, TX, two sisters. Martha and Maria and one brother, Chano, and nine grandchildren, Rayna, T.J., Lily, Payton, Tony Jr, Tasia, Aeryonna, Essence and Kingston. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Visitation and viewing will be Thursday afternoon, September 19th, 4:00-7:00 PM at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, 700 West Main Street, Boise City.
Funeral services will be Friday morning, September 20th, 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ, 501 E Main, Boise City with John Henley from Jackson, Tennessee, officiating. Interment will follow in Boise City Cemetery.
