Jerry L'Roy

Jerry L’Roy, 64, of Kearney died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 29th at the O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney.  The Pastor Sean Dougherty will officiate.

Jerry Lynn L’Roy was born September 16, 1954 in Guymon, OK to Gerald William and Velma (Brown) L’Roy.  He was raised in Guymon and was a graduate of Guymon High School.  Jerry worked for several natural gas providers, most recently with Tall Grass Energy. 

On September 2, 2013, Jerry was united in marriage to Rosa Anne (Romero) Williams in Kearney.  Jerry had a love for music and was known for DJing several events in the Kearney area. He enjoyed leatherworking and riding his Harley motorcycle.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rose Anne L’Roy of Kearney; daughter, Tanae Clark of Edmond, OK; son, Brandon Pearson of Edmond, OK; step daughters, Melissa Williams of Topeka, KS, Micheale Williams of Kearney, Melanie Williams of Holton, KS; 5 grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren; sister Carolyn Long of Guymon, OK; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.  

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM till 7:00PM at Henson~Novak Funeral Home in Guymon.

Graveside funeral services will be held  2:00 PM  Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Rev. Van Heckle officiating.
