Gladys Shuler, lifelong resident of Guymon, passed away Thursday morning June 1, 2017 at Heritage Center at the age of 92.

Gladys was an active member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church, the Red Hatters as a “Ding a Ling” and enjoyed over 25 years  as an auxiliary volunteer.  She enjoyed helping family and friends in her daily life making certain everyone was taken care of.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clark, daughter Jacque, her parents, two brothers, one sister and two great-grandsons Payton Fly and Xander Hardy.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving family who she taught her beliefs, manners and to have compassion for others.

Survivors include one son, Clark Shuler Jr. ( Sonny), one daughter, Vicki Christian and husband Steve, Grandchildren , Shadlynn New, Stefanie Alonzo and husband Joey, Becky Moore, Philip Moore and wife Kimmie, Jennifer Reser and husband Mark. Great- Grandchildren, Riley Fly, Haley Chapman, Tyler Shuler and wife Britney, Jade Riffel, Justice Riffel, Emma Moore, Libby Moore, Emily Moore, Landry Moore, Wes Reser and Isaac Reser, one Great-Great- Grandson Ryker Shuler, One sister Marie Rawlins and husband Bud. Gladys also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Memorial Funeral services will take place 1:00 P.M. Tuesday June 6, 2017 at the Henson- Novak Funeral Chapel with Interment to follow in Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.

Memorials may be made to the family for the great-granchildrens education fund and may be accepted by the funeral home.
