Frances Nell Collins, 87 year old Boise City resident, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Cimarron Memorial Hospital.
The daughter of Ewell Julius and Parlee (Jensen) Kohler, Frances Nell was born January 25, 1932 in Boise City. She attended school in Boise City and Garden City, Kansas. Frances was united in marriage to Robert K. Collins on October 1, 1947. The Collins family lived in Boise City, where Frances raised their family and worked as a mail carrier for many years. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Red Hats group and her bowling league.
Frances is survived by her son, David Collins and wife, Charlene, her sister, Delores Tooley, all of Boise City; two grandchildren, Gina Richardson and John Collins, five great grandchildren, Ty and Kendra Pruitt, Chance, Clay and Cole Collins, and a great grandson, Domenic Pruitt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Collins, infant son, Brent Robert Collins and Paul Collins.
Graveside services will be conducted at Kenton Cemetery, Friday afternoon, August 23rd, 2:00 PM Central, with Lyndol Hale, officiating. Henson-Novak Funeral Directors are entrusted with the arrangements.
Visitation will be at the Boise City Funeral Home on Thursday, 11AM – 7PM and Friday morning, 9-11 AM.
