Don Leach

Donald (Don) Leach, 84, of Texhoma, Texas, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018  at his home.

The son of Helen (Hansen) and Gilbert Thomas Leach, Donald Richard Leach was born September 8, 1933 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Don graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1951 and attended Oklahoma State University.  He was united in marriage to Allene Louise Reid on June 16, 1956 in Bartlesville where Don began his career with Phillips Petroleum.  Don worked at the home offices at a young age and then was transferred to Texhoma.  Don worked as an engine operator for Phillips and retired after 47 years.    Don enjoyed playing pool, bowling, fishing, was a salty roller skater and loved spending time with family.  He was a longtime member of First Christian Church.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Allene, who passed away May 16, 2018.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheri Leach of Texhoma; son, Leslie Leach and wife,Terri of Miami, Texas; four grandchildren, Sean Abbott, Caitlyn Leach, Kensley Leach and Kylan Leach. 

 Memorial services will be Saturday morning, July 7th, 10:00 AM at Texhoma Cemetery with Rev. Matt Maples of First Christian Church, officiating.  Cremation and services are entrusted to Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon and Texhoma.
