Pamela Powell, 74-year-old Eufaula, Oklahoma and longtime Guymon, Oklahoma resident passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pamela Jean Powell was born on November 16, 1949, in Colorado City, Texas to her mother: Betty Jean Lloyd and father: Harold Oliver Lloyd.
She grew up in Guymon and graduated from Guymon High School in 1969.
She worked at Dunaway Manor as a nurses aide and nurses medication aide in Guymon, OK for 25+ years before her retirement. In late 2009 she moved to Madill, OK to be closer to her son and grandchildren. In 2023 Pamela moved with her son and his family to Eufaula, OK
Pamela was a happy and free spirted soul. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, riding motorcycles, Arts and Crafts, and antique shopping. Despite living most of her life in Oklahoma she had a passion for international culture and experiences. She truly appreciated nature's scenery and beauty.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Betty Lloyd; her brother Larry Lloyd and sister-in-law Donna Lloyd.
Pamela is survived by her son David LeBlanc & wife Lindsey of Eufaula, Oklahoma. Her 3 grandchildren: Zanthan LeBlanc of Durant, Oklahoma, Treven LeBlanc and wife Kylee of Durant, Oklahoma; Brailea LeBlanc of Eufaula, Oklahoma and her brother: Harold Lloyd of Guymon, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Henson~Novak Funeral Home in Guymon.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Henson~Novak Chapel in Guymon with Rev. Odie Nunley presiding. Interment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.
