Goodwell, Oklahoma – Virginia L. Rowan, 82, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Vibra Hospital, in Amarillo, Texas.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Cecil “Buck” Buckner, her brothers Bobby and Lonnie “Punch” Buckner, and her beloved husband James Alvin “Al” Rowan.  

 Survivors include two daughters, Karie Hoffman (Gary) and Suezell Owens, both of Denver, Colorado; son, Ray Rowan of Kit Carson, Colorado; sister abd brother-in-law, Cherrie and Fred (Buster) Brown of rural Cimarron County, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Kate Owens of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Riley Hoffman of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by special friends who she loved as family, Chris King and Gayle Boss; and two nephews, Travis Brown and Jason Brown and their families. 

 Memorial services will be held Saturday morning, May 13th, at 10:00 A.M., at the Henson-Novak Chapel of Guymon, Oklahoma with family friend, Bill Newman officiating.  Please come comfortable and casual, which is the way Virginia would have liked it.
