Thomas A. (Tom) Burk, 69, passed away late Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

The son of Lillian (Smith) and Sam West Burk, Sr., he was born March 13, 1947 in Campo, Colorado.  Tom graduated from Lamar High School and had worked in the oilfield as a roustabout in Texas and Oklahoma.  He was married to Beth Riese on March 2, 1991.  Tom lived in Goodwell several years before moving to Guymon.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Burk; two brothers, Howard Burk of Amarillo, TX; and Robert Burk of Sterling, CO and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lottie Burk; four brothers, Sam Burk, Jr; Pete Burk, Bill Burk and Jim Burk.

Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon, May 14th, 2:00 PM at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 501 NW Fifth, Guymon.  Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.
