Welcome to the memorial page for

Michelle Trimble

September 21, 1970 ~ September 30, 2017 (age 47) 47 Years Old

Michelle Trimble passed from this life and into a heavenly eternity early Saturday morning, September 30, 2017 at her home here in Guymon.

The daughter of Linda Gennell (Grice) and Donald Bradley Trimble, Michelle Lee Trimble was born September 21, 1970 in Enid, Oklahoma.  The family moved from Woodward to Guymon in 1980, where Michelle attended Guymon schools and graduated with the Class of 1989.  She attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University and had worked in retail for many years. One of her most rewarding jobs was being a nanny for the Ray family here in Guymon.  Michelle was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.  Michelle’s  faith in the Lord gave her the strength to live, overcome, and deal with her many years with Pulmonary Hypertension.  Although she had huge physical and health restrictions, her attitude and spirit were an encouragement and blessing to others.  Her deep- faith, toughness, and great sense of humor got her through the many days and years of PH and all the many complications it caused.  Michelle’s words like “God’s got this” and “This too shall pass”,  emboldened her and her family.  She was known as “Oshie” by her nieces, nephews and the Ray children.  She took great joy in creating things for others using the gift God gave her for her imagination in making crafts and jewelry.  Michelle is breathing deeply and easily and dancing on the streets of gold; for this, her family is thankful.

Michelle is survived by her parents, Linda and Ellis (Mac) McCurdy of Guymon; Brad and Connie Trimble of Goodyear, Arizona; her step-daughter and family, Elizabeth Harper and husband, Mike; and their children, Hunter and Corey Harper.  She is also survived by maternal grandfather, Art Grice and wife, Polly of Amarillo, Texas; her sister, Misty Stover and Trey Terry of Englewood, Colorado; three brothers, Michael Trimble and wife, Rachelle, of Guymon; Chad McCurdy of Guymon; and Dale McCurdy and wife, Michele of Amarillo; nieces and nephews, Brookelyn, Tatum and Jeyton Trimble; Madyson and Mackenzie McCurdy; Blake, Tommy, Shelby and Coleby McCurdy; Andrew and Cameron Langer; and Trinity Stover; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty Grice, and Don and Joan Trimble.

Service will be held Saturday afternoon, October 28th, 2:00 PM at the Church of the Nazarene, 2214 North Sunset, Guymon.  The family wishes this to be a celebration of Michelle's life, so in lieu of flowers, please order or bring balloons for the services.   Friends may sign the online guest book and send the family a memory or condolence at www.hensonnovak.com.
