Dear Long Family,

I have known her all of my life as she & David were good friends of my parents, Howard & Mickey Nash and also a dear friend of mine. When Tim and I lived in Gruver, we became acquainted with Mary's mother and knew why Mary was ,also, such a lovely and warm friendly lady. Sending our condolences to the whole family from your sort of cousins from Montana. Even though Uncle Walter passed away in 1945 we have always referred to your Mom as Aunt Mary Long. Our Mom and Dad, Mary Ann and Anton Johnson, always tried to make connections with Mary and David when they were in Texas, and we remember when they came to Montana to visit. Your Mom was always so happy and excited to see any of us. Maureen and I got to visit with her last year at Aunt Dorothy's funeral. She was a special person and we want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to learn of Mary's passing. She was an awesome lady with a lot of heart. I enjoyed visiting with her on many occasions. I never met a stronger and more committed lady. She is greatly missed!!! Praying that God will give comfort, strength and support to all the family.

Guymon's Grande Dame has joined her many friends and loved ones. I have so many fond memories of her and can still see her at the Music Mart waiting for her kids to finish with their piano lessons. She and David were loved by my family and will always be amongst the best memories I have of the wonderful people of my childhood.

Mary Long...what a delightful lady. I have known her my entire life and have many precious memories of her. She and David were very close friends to my parents, Stanley and Margaret Tyler, and it seems she was just always around our family. She will be sorely missed. Native Americans say, "How can she truly be gone when she still walks in our hearts". Mary left deep footprints in many people's hearts. They will cherish their memories of her.

Mary was just fantastic… I have known her since I was 3 years old. She was always so happy and such a delight to be with. As a young girl, she would always make sure my hair and pony tails were just right and would always fluff my dresses to be perfect. Sometimes she would take me to my dance lessons and watch me perform. We have kept in touch over the years and I will always remember Mary as a very special lady in my life. She will be greatly missed.
