I remember so many memories as I grew up and spent time in her home, and church! She made an imprint in my life forever! She was a very important part of my life as I grew up!I loved her so much ! God Bless! She was always happy even in times of trouble ! She told me I play basketball with the Lord as I pray to the farther but I still worry about whatever was the problem or trouble I was feeling lol she was so wonderful to me ! I always thought of her as a grandmother to me!! Now my Mom has passed away so maybe they are there in heaven together ! We will see them again someday when this life is over ! We will fly away!! God Bless always !

Mrs. Behne was always one of my favorite Guymon people. My brother and I would visit our grandparents, William and Lurline Bryan, in summer when we were kids and attend the Nazarene church with them. She was always kind, thoughtful, welcoming and fun. Such a precious woman.
I am keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers.

There's not enough paper in Guymon, Oklahoma, to list the names of all of Iola's kids. Everybody that ever resided in the area was one of hers. I remember spending the night at the Behne house on James Street with Terry on many occasions. It always seemed like home, even when I was there for just a few minutes. The thing we will always remember about Iola was her big smile and her giant heart.

I pray that God holds each of you and comforts you in the days ahead.

What a wonderful woman. So many warm and happy memories of hanging out at the Behne house and eating homemade cookies. Fun sleepovers. It was my home away from home. Such warmth and kindness given to everyone. My sincere condolences to the family.

The depth and width of the influence of this precious woman on so many lives is boundless. We are sure that upon hearing the news of her passing, those who knew her will be amazed at their flood of memories and how she influenced their lives. She was an exceptional woman who reached out to all with love and acceptance. She loved the song "May all who come behind us find us faithful may the fire of our devotion light their way, may the footprints that we leave lead them to believe, and the lives we live inspire them to obey." Iola, you have been found faithful and we are blessed to have known you.

Very well said, Priscilla. That group of women in the church, including your and Dave's mom, had a huge influence on my life.

I was sad to see this notice, it is always hard to lose someone so special. I have such good memories of times with her and your family. I have the utmost respect for all she did for her family and community. I got to see her often due to her friendship with Nancy. I am sure they are rejoicing in Heaven together. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

So many good memories of her. I'm pretty sure we used to bowl together, and I remember her as a woman who was always ready and willing to help others.
