Daina Gayle (Stewart) Buck

Guymon, Oklahoma – Daina Buck, 59, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at her home.

The daughter of Nancy Gayle (Grice) and Eddie Cadain Stewart, Daina was born August 27, 1958, in Guymon.  Daina graduated from Guymon High School with the class of 1976.  She had worked for Pat Matthews Insurance for several years before working as a grain accountant at Collingwood Grain.  Daina and Rodney Buck were married on July 18, 1989.  Daina adored her family and was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandma.

She is survived by her husband, Rod Buck, of the home; father, Eddie Stewart, of Guymon; three children, Jeramie and husband, O.J. Herrera of Goodwell; Jacob Dunham and wife, Chelsey of Texhoma; Jessi Buck and fiancé, Eryk Veleta of Guymon; two brothers, Baron Stewart of Guymon; Vance Stewart of Phoenix, AZ, and her mother-in-law, Shirley Buck, of Guymon.  Daina was “Gma” to her six grandchildren, Seth Mayer, Ryder and Oakley Herrera and June, Harley and Lucy Dunham.

Daina was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Stewart and father-in-law, Marvin Buck.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, February 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 501 NW Fifth Street, Guymon, with family friend, Rev. Tim Brittain, officiating.  Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.
