Chris Hatch, 61, passed away early Friday, October 14, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

Christie Lynn was born October 10, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas.  She attended Topeka schools and later attended beautician school.  Chris enjoyed her work as a beautician for many years before moving to Guymon to work for Seaboard Industries and later, Hitch Pork.  She had more recently worked for the Texas County Treasurer’s Office, where she loved her job and the “girls” she worked with. 

With Rocky came his three girls and Chris so enjoyed them; treated them as her own with unconditional love and fun.  The girls knew, first of all, that she loved their Dad.  Over the years, Chris adored her many animals.  She was content and happy with her life, but in 2015, ALS changed her plans.  ALS took a toll on her body, but never on her personality, sense of humor and her love of her family and friends.

She is survived by the partner and love of her life, Rocky Richardson; three daughters, Lyndsay and husband, Jared Cossell of Little Elm, Texas; Kaci Richardson,  Carly and husband, Devin Bailey, all of Dodge City, Kansas; her mother, Helen Thigpen of Topeka, Kansas; two brothers, Rusty and wife, Crystal Addington and Greg and wife, Kathey Addington, all of Topeka; and two granddaughters, Camdyn and Gracyn Cossell..  She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Brandon, Levi, Casey and Dustin Addington, Justin Myran and Carrie Linn. 

There will be a memorial service, a celebration of Chris’s life, where friends are asked to share memories and stories, on December 3rd, Saturday afternoon, 2:00 PM at the Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel, 501 NW Fifth Street, Guymon.
