Arlene Rogell, 79 year old Elkhart, Kansas resident, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, Kansas.

Arlene Pollock was born January 12, 1938 in South Bend, Indiana to Arthur and Anne (Schatz) Pollock.  Arlene attended South Bend public schools.  After graduation Arlene was a bill collector for different loan companies.

Arlene was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Elaine Ferguson and one son Barry Rogell.

Arlene is is survived by one daughter, Marge Smith of Guymon; one son Lane Rogell of Springdale, Arkansas; one brother Myron Pollock and wife Gloria of Highland Ranch, Colorado; seven grandchildren Jason Cain of Burleson, Texas; Jessica Kraus of Ft. Collins, Colorado; Bobby Lybarger of Edmond, Oklahoma, Ben Rogell, Zack Rogell, Jordan Rogell and Erin Lybarger of Dodge City, Kansas; ten great-grandchildren, Joey Cain, Joshua Cain, Essence Kraus and newborn baby, Renee Lybarger, Colby Lewis, Lilly Lewis, Faith Martinez, Michela Martinez and Rhyann Eidem.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday June 1, 2017 at the Elkhart City Cemetery with Jim Lavielle and Shella Choi officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Friendship Fund with them being accepted at First National Bank in Elkhart or Henson Novak Funeral Directors.
