She was my pre first grade in grade school and my mom was her teacher’s aide in my class and when she went to teach third grade my mom was her teacher’s aide there too. I sure do miss her. She was a sweet lady

I was one of Mrs. Welch's Kindergarten students at Elkhart, and was saddened to hear of her passing. She was an amazing teacher, and I was told once that she said once she knew her class was in good hands when she had to leave class because I could read her lesson plans upside-down and backwards... don't remember actually reading them to her, but I DID frustrate her once in a great while by working ahead... guess I showed my hand. I loved her, and she will be missed by all who came into contact with her.

Love and prayers to all of your family.
How blessed Ann was to have so many grandchildren and great grandchildren! When I think of Ann, I remember that big smile that just lit up her whole face!! She was always so happy and positive. Many memories of all the times she would stop by the store and get Mother to go across to Crismon Drug for their almost daily coke! She will be missed, but we know that someday we will all be together again in our "forever home!" May God bless you during this time of grief. I pray that all those good memories will make you smile!

We just got news of your mom's journey to heaven. What a wonderful woman, who was my mother's best friend. More like a sister. Your mom and dad were just the best and I will never forget them. Don't you know your dad and my daddy and mother welcomed her with open arms! I know you will miss her, but we know with certainty we will be together again, and forever. Love to all of you.

I LOVED this woman - she was my Kindergarten teacher in Elkhart a LONG time ago, and all I can remember is her warm squishy hugs and smile. She made me feel like I was at home away from home. The throw she sent for my wedding is still hanging in my living room and I love to tell the kids about who it came from. She will fit in well with the angels....

May all of you find comfort and strength from your memories of this wonderful lady. I remember baby sitting you kids when I was in High School. I always enjoyed visiting with her at Delta Kappa Gamma when she taught in Elkhart and I taught in Hugoton. May she rest in peace.

I am sorry to see that Mrs. Welch has passed away. I was a student of hers my Sr year at Gruver. She was always the sweetest! And it was fun to visit with her in the stores in Guymon at times.

So sorry to hear about Ann's passing. We worked together on the ambulance. I also had the pleasure of taking care of her sweet mother. She was a good friend and teacher.
